Whitney Houston and Dana Bash
Whitney Elizabeth Houston was conceived in a musical family on 9 August 1993, in Newark New Jersey. Whitney is a cousin and daughter to singing superstar Dionne. Her mother and she started singing professionally at New Hope Baptist Church in Newark when Whitney was only 15 years old. They performed the back vocals on Chaka Khan's track from 1978 Im Every Woman. After that, she began to join the backing vocals of Jermaine, Lou Rawls, and her mother. The singer began her career as a featured vocalist for the band from New York called Material and it was the excellence of her vocal work together that brought the attention of major record companies, such as Arista who signed her in 1983. This is where she was for the rest of her professional career. In 1985, the debut of Whitney Houston became the best-selling debut album of all time. Many hit songs, including The Greatest Love of All, Saving My Love For You How Can I Tell You If You Give Good Love as well as The greatest Love of All were released from the album, setting the stage for her to beat the Beatles with seven consecutive US numbers one. The album sold 3 million copies during its initial season in the US and went on to achieve a worldwide sales of 25 million, earning them the first six Grammys. The Whitney album followed in 1987 and the singles How Do Broken Hearts GO and I Wanna Dance With Somebody helped to further build upon the success of her first album. It was, however it was the 1992 film The Bodyguard that solidified her position as one of the world's most well-known artist. Although the film was not very well received, nor did her performance, the soundtrack to the film's Dolly Parton version I Will Always Love You hit the number one spot on both singles and albums charts in the United States for a period of time. It sold 44,000,000 copies. The same year that she had her daughter Bobbi, Brown married Bobby Brown of the ex-New Edition group. Around this time, her well-documented substance abuse began and by 1996, Bobbi Kristina Brown was using drugs daily.
Dana Bash or Dana Ruth Schwartz as she's more commonly known as an American anchorwoman reporter as well as CNN's political correspondent. Her previous work included NBC, CBS and other prestigious channels. Her productions include some of CNN's weekends shows like Evans & Novak Late Edition and Inside Politics. Bash has been awarded numerous awards and honors. Elle magazine once listed Bash on the Women in Washington Power List. Bash is widely praised by her remarkable abilities as a reporter/an anchor. On a personal level, the graduate from George Washington University is a doting mother to her only son. Bash is a single mother and had two marriages. Bash is a woman who is determined and independent, is very fond of her admirers. This is the reason why the American reporter is so active in Instagram, Twitter and other social media platforms.
