Whitney Elizabeth Houston was conceived in a musical family on 9 August 1993 in Newark New Jersey. Whitney is a cousin and daughter of the singer Dionne. The singer began her singing career in the choir of the church she attended The New Hope Baptist Church in Newark in the early years of her childhood and by the age of fifteen, she was singing back vocals professionally along with the mother of her on Chaka Khan's hit song from 1978 Im Every Woman. The singer went on to sing backing vocals for Jermaine Jackson, Lou Rawls and her own mother. She also did a brief stint as a model appearing on the front cover of Seventeen magazine in the year 1981. She started as a featured performer for the New York-based New York Funk band Material. The quality of her vocal work attracted attention from big record labels like Arista which she joined in 1983. Whitney Houston, her debut album that debuted in 1985 was the top-selling album of a debut singer. Songs like The Greatest Love of All, How Can I Tell If You Give Good Love or Save All My Love were all released from the album. These songs enabled Houston to earn seven US top tens that surpassed even those of The Beatles. The album debuted in 1987 and has sold more than 25 million copies worldwide. The Whitney follow-up in 1987 with the singles Where Do Broken Hearts GO and I Wanna Dance With Somebody helped to further build upon the success of her first album. But it was the 1992 film The Bodyguard that solidified her position as one of the world's most loved artists. While the movie and the performances of the actress were not much praised, her soundtrack album that featured her interpretation of Dolly Parton's I Will Always Love You was the top-selling album and single for a number of months. It sold over 44 million copies worldwide. The same year, she married Bobby Brown who was a ex- New Edition singer. She was the sole daughter of Bobby and Bobbi Kristina Brown on March 23, 1993. Dana Bash, also known as Dana Ruth Schwartz, is an American anchorwoman and journalist who is a correspondent for politics for CNN. In the past, she has created shows for the network, such as Evans & Novak' Late Edition' and Inside Politics'. She's known for her incredible anchoring/reporting abilities and she's loved by the younger journalists. The George Washington University graduate is an extremely loving mom of a son.
