Diana Vreeland ordered Ann to take part in her first Vogue photo shoot with Richard Avedon within one week. Ann was one of America's most well-known models, appearing on the cover of leading magazines such as Vogue Bazaar, Cosmopolitan and several others. After two years Ann began to appear on international fashion shows performing well in Europe as well as Japan as the face of big brands in the cosmetic industry like Max Factor Revlon and Chanel.
